We are engaged in the Banjar region, since 2000, in various activities to support communities in times of need and in general skilling, as per the need. We have collaborated and worked together with various national/international volunteer experts, government agencies, NGOs and funders for the same.
Some of our past activities involves:
COMMUNITY HEALTH – We have worked with My Himachal and various volunteers around public health and veterinary services. Since 2014, we are driving Public Health Delivery System (PHDS) programme with NHPC and NRLM
Some of our activities include:
- Vaccination of children with help of My Himachal NGO and Lady
- Wellignton hospital, Manali in Jibhi valley, during 2004-05
- Veterinary health with local government agency and volunteer veterinarian from Israel (Miss Dodo Blue), 2005
- First aid and health emergency camps for trekking guides of Tirthan valley
- Public Health Delivery System (PHDS) programme with NHPC and NRLM, since 2014, staffing 2 staff nurses and 4 women health volunteer

DISASTER RELIEF & REHABILITATION – We are member of DDMA Kullu, and played active role during COVID2019. We also have worked with various trusts and organisations around disaster relief and rehabilitation
Some of our activities include:
- Our volunteer women groups knitted and distributed masks and sanitizer to government officials and public during COVID-2019
- Ration distribution, during 2023 disaster with help of Ashraya Hastha Trust, PHDS
- We did field survey and submitted report around Samej cloudburst disaster during 2024
- We worked with PSI Dehradun and Tata Trust, to fabricate and distribute temporary shelters to 30 disaster affected families in the valley
- During April, 2025 we facilitated CEEW Delhi research team for community and local institution discussions in Kullu district

LIVELIHOOD – We have distributed various essential ameneties like LPG cylinders and kit, sewing machines, handloom (tibetan carpet handloom), beekeeping boxes, etc. including training and skilling workshops for the same
Some of our activities include:
- We distributed LPG kits from 2002-06 to Women Saving and Credit Groups
- Handloom was distributed along with trainings to WSCGs during 2004-2007
- We are working with PSI Dehradun and Sidhwa Trust to provide livelihood support for disaster affected areas, during 2024
- We regularly conduct workshops and trainings (1 day to 7 day) with GB Pant Institute of Himalayan Development, Mohal around beekeeping, post 2015
